While many people started 2019 waiting for someone to give them permission to create, Jaylon Ashaun decided to take matters into his own hands. In the first quarter of this year Jaylon decided that every Wednesday he would release a snippet of a song with an accompanying video. These snippets where considered to be rough drafts. However, for supporters of the artists it was clear that what Jaylon was offering was anything but.
Weekly, Jaylon would share behind the scenes footage of him with friends and creative partners recording new music and filming music videos. If you ever wondered what you could create with some cool lighting and aluminum foil check out Jaylon’s video for All The Kids below.
The fact is, Jaylon was showing his audience, that you do not have to wait for someone to give you permission to create. He brought fans into his process of using the resources that he had to deliver consistently each week.
Fans were desperately waiting for Jaylon to release full versions of his one-minute instagram and YouTube offerings. However, this wait came to an end in November when he released a full length project titled Final Draft.
Final Draft contains longer length version of several of the songs that’s Jaylon released over the past six months. We can’t wait to see what Jaylon in store for 2020. Final Draft is available on all streaming platforms.
